Michael is founder and managing member for Precision Forensic Consulting. He is retired from the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office after a successful career investigating fires, explosions and arson. In 2010 Michael began working for PT&C Forensic Consulting as a part time fire and explosion consultant. He gained valuable knowledge and experience with investigations for the insurance industry during his time there before eventually leaving as a senior lead consultant at the end of 2016. 

At the beginning of 2017 Michael started Precision Forensic Consulting. With more than 2500 fire and explosion investigations as the lead investigator, Michael has used his education, experience and knowledge in the fire investigation industry to successfully provided his clients with thorough investigations and answers to complex fire and explosion origin and causation. 

Michael is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) with the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). He is also the past president of the Delaware Chapter of the IAAI.  Michael has earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University as a well A.A.S. in Emergency Services Management from Delaware Technical and Community College. Since 1991, Michael has served as an active volunteer firefighter with the Elsmere Fire Company in Wilmington, Delaware.

John is a retired Captain with the Baltimore County Fire Department with 34 years of service. During his time at BCFD, he completed his fire investigation training and served as a fire/arson investigator.  John has investigated more than 300 fire, arson and explosion cases and testified in several arson trials. 

While working for the fire department, John began his private fire investigation career with Fire Arson Investigations Consultants as a part time investigator in 2002.  John continued gaining valuable fire investigation experience and knowledge while working for Donan Engineer until leaving in 2021. 

John has attended numerous professional classes and obtained several certifications from the International Association of Arson Investigators, National Association of Fire Investigators, National Fire Academy, Bureau of Alcohol Tabaco and Firearms as well as the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute.

He brings extensive fire investigation knowledge and experience to Precision Forensic Consulting.

Brian is currently the Chief Deputy Fire Marshal in charge of the Kent County Office of the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office. He brings a wealth of fire investigation knowledge and experience to the team. 

In the past twenty plus years of service with the state, Brian has earned his International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator credential and also became a certified accelerant K-9 handler. In addition, he is a Certified Fire Inspector with the National Fire Protection Association. 

Brian studied Fire Protection Engineering Technology at Delaware Technical and Community College and served as a volunteer firefighter for ten years. Prior to becoming a fire marshal, he worked in the fire protection industry gaining valuable knowledge of fire suppression and alarm systems.

Eric is currently a Deputy Fire Marshal 3 with the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office. Eric is a former professional fire fighter with more than twenty years of experience in the fire service. He brings a wealth of fire behavior and fire investigative knowledge and experience to the team.
